On November 28–29, 2023, the rectors and the steering group of the SUNRISE Alliance gathered in Brussels for a pivotal meeting to shape the future of our partnership. This important event brought together representatives from all partner universities, underscoring the collective dedication to advancing the goals of our Alliance. The primary focus of the meeting was to finalize the Mission Statement and define the comprehensive scope of our ambitious project. 

This gathering was much more than a strategic discussion; it was an opportunity to strengthen the bonds between our institutions. By working closely together, we laid the foundation for a robust institutional framework that will support our shared mission of driving innovation, sustainability, and collaboration across regions. The atmosphere in Brussels was one of unity and mutual respect, as participants exchanged ideas and reinforced their commitment to the success of the Alliance.
