We are pleased to announce the launch of the SUNRISE Photo Contest “Student Life”, inviting students from all SUNRISE partner universities to share their unique perspective on student life through photography.

This contest is an opportunity to showcase everyday experiences, creativity, and the diversity of student life across the SUNRISE Alliance.

How to participate

To take part in the contest, participants are invited to submit their entries via Instagram:

1. Post a photo on your Instagram profile
2. Use your university-specific hashtag
3. Tag the official SUNRISE account: @sunrise.alliance
4. Ensure your profile is set to public

All submissions must follow the contest guidelines and remain accessible for review.

🏆 Prize

The winner will receive a fully funded trip to the SUNRISE Summit in Västerås, Sweden (May 2026), including travel and accommodation.

If the winning participant is based in Sweden, an alternative prize will be offered: a trip to Science Night in Ilmenau, Germany (June 2026).

• Start of the contest: 20 March 2026
• Submission deadline: 20 April 2026
• Winner announcement: end of April 2026

• If identifiable individuals appear in the photo, appropriate consent must be obtained
• Entries must comply with the rules and reflect the spirit of the contest
• Inappropriate or non-compliant submissions will not be considered
