SUMMARY:AIMed – From Promising Code to Real Clinical Impact
DESCRIPTION:How can artificial intelligence move from promising code to tools that genuinely support clinical care in a safe\, meaningful\, and accountable way? This is the central question driving the AIMed initiative. \nAIMed is a joint international effort developed by scholars from: \n\n\nthe Department of Medicine at McMaster University \n\n\nthe Big Data Institute at the University of Oxford \n\n\nthe Polish Institute for Evidence Based Medicine (PIEBM) \n\n\nthe Interdisciplinary Health Data Center of the Jagiellonian University Medical College \n\n\nOur mission is to build real bridges between technology\, clinical practice\, and regulation\, bringing together clinicians\, researchers\, data scientists\, industry leaders\, and policymakers working on real-world applications of AI in healthcare. \n\nAIMed Conference 2026 – Kraków\, Poland | 7–9 May 2026\nAs part of the broader AIMed initiative\, we warmly invite you to take part in the AIMed 2026 Conference\, a unique international event taking place in Kraków\, Poland\, on 7–9 May 2026. \nThe conference features an outstanding scientific programme focused on responsible\, clinically relevant\, and implementable AI solutions in medicine. \n📢 Call for Abstracts – Now Open\nWe invite submissions of original research across two tracks: \nTrack A – Clinical & Translational ResearchAI/ML studies focused on real-world clinical implementation and patient-relevant outcomes. \nTrack B – Technical & Methodological ResearchAI/ML algorithm development and data science innovations with clear clinical potential. \n👉 All accepted abstracts will be published in a Book of Abstracts\, produced in collaboration with BMJ Digital Health & AI. \n\nMore Than Just Another Conference\nAIMed is a year-round international platform for collaboration. Beyond the main conference\, we host: \n\n\nworkshops and tutorials\, \n\n\ncollaborative and networking activities\, \n\n\ninitiatives connecting academia\, clinical practice\, industry\, and regulators. \n\n\n\n🔗 Learn More & Get Involved\n\n\nProgramme\, registration\, and abstract submission: www.aimedicine.one \n\n\nJoin our newsletter to stay engaged throughout the year \n\n\nFollow us on LinkedIn for updates: https://www.linkedin.com/company/aimed-ai-medicine/ \n\n\nJoin AIMed and help shape the future of responsible AI in healthcare.
