Registration Open for the SUNRISE Online Chess Tournament 2026

The SUNRISE Alliance is pleased to invite students and staff from all partner universities to participate in the SUNRISE Online Chess Tournament 2026, organized in cooperation with Chess.com.

The tournament aims to bring together members of the SUNRISE community through a friendly and engaging competition that promotes strategic thinking, focus, and collaboration.

Participants will compete online using a rapid chess format, ensuring dynamic and exciting games suitable for players of all experience levels.

• Date: Friday, 12 June 2026
• Time: 16:00 CET
• Platform: Chess.com
• Time Control: 10 minutes per player (no increment)
• Tournament Format: 7 rounds
• Eligibility: Students and staff of SUNRISE partner universities
