Organized by the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar within the framework of the SUNRISE Alliance, a basketball tournament was successfully held as the central event of this year’s sports and educational competition titled SUNRISE Challenge. The event gathered a large number of high school students from the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

The tournament was officially opened by Prof. Rijad Novaković, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at the Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar.

The competition took place in an exceptionally positive atmosphere, marked by a high level of fair play, teamwork, and competitive spirit. After a series of dynamic matches, the following teams secured places on the winners’ podium:

• 🥇 1st place: Secondary School Konjic
• 🥈 2nd place: Secondary Electrical Engineering School “Salih Salko Ćurić” Mostar
• 🥉 3rd place: Secondary School of Civil Engineering Mostar
