UniAdrion Italy Staff Week 2026 hosted at Università Politecnica delle Marche

Università Politecnica delle Marche hosted the UniAdrion Italy Erasmus+ Staff Week 2026, welcoming nearly 70 participants from universities and companies in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Montenegro and North Macedonia.

Held within the framework of the SUNRISE European University Alliance, the programme examined current developments in international mobility, Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs), joint degree programmes, collaborative research and European project development.

A new feature of the 2026 edition was the participation of representatives from both higher education institutions and the business sector. Discussions addressed applied research, technology transfer and cooperation between universities and companies, particularly in the context of the agri-food sector, which was selected as this year’s central theme.

The programme combined thematic workshops with visits to companies in the Marche region, including O.R.T.O. VERDE S.C.A.P.A., Cantina Terra Cruda, La.Cri.Ma. Verde and TreValli Cooperlat. These visits presented examples of applied research, sustainable production and collaboration between academia and industry.

The opening session included presentations on Blended Intensive Programmes (BIPs), joint degree opportunities, collaborative research and future Erasmus+ initiatives in the Adriatic-Ionian region. Throughout the week, participants exchanged experiences in mobility management, European project design and institutional partnerships.

The Staff Week was coordinated by Professor Deborah Pacetti, Secretary General of UniAdrion, with the support of the International Relations Office at Università Politecnica delle Marche.
