Mälardalen University

Mälardalen University (Swedish: Mälardalens universitet), or MDU, is a modern Swedish university located in the cities of Västerås and Eskilstuna. With a student body of 18,000 and around 1,000 employees, including 91 professors, 504 teachers, and 244 doctoral students, MDU plays a significant role in Swedish higher education. The university is notable for being the world’s first environmentally certified school under the international ISO 14001 standard, showcasing its strong commitment to sustainability. 

MDU offers a wide range of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs across various disciplines such as engineering, health sciences, business, education, and the humanities.
