5th Student School on Building Performance Simulation Applications

The Free University of Bozen-Bolzano invites Master’s and PhD students from the SUNRISE Alliance to participate in the 5th Student School on Building Performance Simulation Applications, taking place on 24 June 2026 at the Faculty of Engineering, NOI Techpark in Bolzano, Italy.

This year’s edition will focus on:

Urban Building Energy Modelling and Simulation of Smart Districts

Throughout the day, leading national and international experts will present the latest developments in Urban Building Energy Modelling (UBEM), highlighting its role in transforming existing neighborhoods into smart districts and supporting the energy transition and decarbonization of cities.

The Student School is part of the 7th Building Simulation Applications Conference (BSA 2026), which will be held in Bolzano, South Tyrol, Italy, from 24–26 June 2026. As the seventh edition of the IBPSA-Italy conference, BSA 2026 will showcase the latest advances in building simulation applications and the modelling of the built environment and its energy performance.

Participation in the Student School is open to Master’s and PhD students from SUNRISE Alliance universities and is included in the BSA 2026 conference registration fee.
